X-Rays (Radiographs)

The following X-Rays were taken at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. Some of the images have been annotated or highlighted to explain their features, but otherwise these are duplicates of the original X-Rays.

Frontal Comparison

A front view X-Ray of the Starchild (left) compared to the human female reportedly found with it (right).

Starchild Front View

The rectangular shadow is caused by a board behind the skull, and should be ignored.

Human Front View

Human Front View

A front view of the adult human female skull.

Side Comparison

Starchild Skull Side View

Starchild Skull Side View

The dark shadow behind rear of the skull is a board. It is interesting to see that the skull does not lie flat on the board and has bumps and ridges in the bone at the rear. If it was cradleboarded it would be smooth.

Human Side View

Human Side View

A side view of human female reportedly found with the Starchild, which HAS been cradleboarded (the head strapped to a board as an infant so the skull becomes completely flat at the rear).

Underside Comparison

Underside Comparison

A view looking up through the neck hole of the Starchild (left) compared to the human female reportedly found with it (right).

Starchild Underside View

The ridges at the rear of the skull are even more visible in this image.

The two "wings" at the sides of the skull are the cheek bones.

Sinus Comparison

Sinus Comparison

The Starchild Skull has no frontal sinus (shown inset), and the bone is much thinner, so it appears lighter on the X-Rays.
